“More and more…”: My 3-Minute Thesis Video

“‘More and more remaining at Bear Island’: Ontario’s Role in Federal Aboriginal Education in Temagami, 1903-1950”

Have you ever heard of a Three-Minute Thesis (or 3MT)? It’s like an elevator pitch for grad students. You know, you unexpectedly find yourself on an elevator with the CEO and you’ve got 3 minutes to make your case!

Well, there’s a global contest called 3MT for grad students in all disciplines. We have 3 minutes and one static powerpoint slide to describe our research to a non-specialist audience. Sound easy? It’s not!

Two weeks ago, Nipissing University held its annual 3MT competition. Congratulations to the winners Rachel Van Woezik and Casey Monkelbaan. And without further ado, here is my Three Minute Thesis video!
